Andi Putt is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and the founder of Mrs. Speechie P. In 2017, she started Mrs. Speechie P as a personal blog after a late-night idea to help parents support their children at home. Andi has a special interest in Autism, as she specializes in Autism evaluation, and she thoroughly enjoys working with Autistic children. She is a strong supporter of the Neurodiversity movement, identifying as a disability advocate and Neurodivergent herself.
Andi resides in Texas with her husband, son, and bonus sons. While they enjoy a quiet life at home, they also love traveling, particularly to the beach. She appreciates spending time in her PJs, reading, watching movies, and sleeping. Though one might think she was more interesting before having kids, she's always embraced her laid-back lifestyle.
Andi obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Child Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Dallas. Shortly before graduating, she decided to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, despite not fully understanding the profession at the time. In December 2008, she earned her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and began working in both school and private practice settings. Over the years, she has worked with children ranging from 18 months to 21 years old, addressing a wide range of communication needs.
