Matt McManus

Graphics & Web Designer

Matt got involved with The Connected Parent for one simple reason: he’s married to the Founder! Of course, even were that not the case, he would have been happy to jump on board. As the team’s Graphic and Web Designer, he’s also the resident IT expert and bug finder extraordinaire.

Through his own family’s experiences, Matt has learned that, while many issues seem insurmountable at the time, there are plenty of individuals and communities out there who share the same struggles, have walked the same path, and are there to help. As such, he’s proud to lend his own skills and experience—both personal and professional—to get those connections started. With a B.A. in Art and Graphic Design, he also works as a professional videogame designer and volunteers as a web and graphic designer for the PCDH19 Alliance.

A Connecticut transplant raised in California, Matt, together with his wife Julie, has the privilege of parenting a daughter, son, service dog, and his son’s growing collection of bugs (don’t ask). An avid science fiction and fantasy fan, he also loves drawing, crafting, playing sports and, naturally, playing—or sometimes just watching other people play—video games.
